During its first 30 months, ACDC will deploy 8 national support centres. The role of the support centre is to provide its own constituency with support, providing access to the different ACDC solutions that can be used to fight botnets.
Other countries are welcome to join ACDCs national support centre initiative. During the project, Luxembourg and Bulgaria have already opened additional support centres in their country.
What does ACDC provide you with?
- Support to providers of solutions wishing to use ACDC as a distribution channel
- Access to the existing support centres’ teams to share best practices
- Access to the solutions provided by ACDC
- Access to the ACDC clearing house (stored data)
- Access to all dissemination activities and possibility to publicise during the ACDC organised events, as well as through the ACDC online Web portal
What activities do you take on?
Support centres can choose one or more of the following activities. Not all activities need to be implemented.
Minimal set of services
- Online access to ACDC solutions
- Translation of what each ACDC solution provides in your national language(s)
Extended set of services
- Call centre
- Data collection
- Data provision
- Support to providers of solutions wishing to use ACDC as a distribution channel and / or as a test bed for innovations
- Support to research centres wishing to access ACDC data
- Education actions, through the organisation of seminars (online / physical) to train users to botnet related risks and mitigation solutions
